Georgetown Pediatric Center (GtownPeds) of Georgetown, SC
The Georgetown Pediatric Center, PA was founded by Dr. Paul Hletko in 1992; at that time we were the only pediatric specialty practice in Georgetown County. Our pediatricians and pediatric nurse practitioners are here to provide your children with a medical home from birth through adolescence. Working with you, we strive to help you make the best health care decisions for your children.
Appointments
Visits are by appointment. We realize that urgencies arise, and we can usually accommodate our walk-in visits without undue waits. Unlike some fields of medicine, pediatricians must handle life threatening unplanned emergencies on a regular basis. We also quite commonly arrive in an examination room to find a family in crisis. The effort required to help them can easily exceed the budgeted appointment time. We strive to be on time for our appointments but ask your patience at times of emergency.

HOURS:
Monday through Friday: 8 am to 5 pm
Saturday: 8 am until closing
Sunday: 9 am until closing
We are open on most holidays for a few hours in the morning (check with our office for exact times).
Weekend and holiday hours are reserved for acute illness visits.
Note: We are usually able to accommodate tourists and visitors but ask all who are not established patients to call first before coming to the office.
