The Georgetown Pediatric Center (GtownPeds) is proud to offer a distinguished professional staff with doctors who have specialized in the care of children.   We encourage regular wellness check ups as children grow in addition to immunizations and sick visits.  Dr. Hletko was recruited by Georgetown back in 1992 and had an immediate impact on lowering the infant mortality rate in our community.   Our doctors are dedicated to providing quality health care to the children of Georgetown county and surrounding areas from infancy through adolescence.  Click on a photo above to "meet the doctor."

Note:  The FAAP designation after a pediatrician's name stands for "Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics". Their web site is listed in our links.  Fellows are pediatricians who have become board certified and been accepted for membership.   Board eligible physicians have completed their residencies and are waiting to take their examination for certification.  Board certified pediatricians have passed an examination and are certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.  All our physicians are board eligible or board certified. Pediatricians who have been certified are required to recertify every 10 years.  Those who have passed a recertification exam and have other certification criteria are awarded a designation of MOC (Maintenance of Certification).
